We’ll be at the OCH Art Market this Saturday, 8/11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our menu looks something like this:

Find us next Saturday at the OCH Festival Art Market, 4/14, from 1o a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Zeitgeist Arts Center. Along with two live bands and an array of fantastic vendors, we’ll be serving from our most varied menu to date, with handy finger foods ranging from shiitake mushroom and horseradish beignets to savory tomato tarts and peanut pepper cabbage wraps with goat yogurt and cucumbers. Salad and Compost

We made a cucumber orange salad to take to a picnic on Saturday: cucumbers, oranges, red onions, radishes, kalamata olives, celery, feta cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Our compost is sometimes as beautiful as our dishes, and it’s also a big part of our philosophy here at TSAI. As each of our events wrap up, we take all of our compost from the evening to Aron’s backyard and add it to the pile there so that all of the detritus we produce is on its way to becoming soil again by the next day.

Rice Bowls at the Bridge Lounge, 8/20

We’ll be at the Bridge Lounge this Saturday, serving hearty rice bowls from 9:30 until midnight. The Bridge Lounge is Uptown, at 1201 Magazine St. Each bowl comes with brown or white jasmine rice, and the following:

sauces: black bean shiitake mushroom sauce OR red curry with ginger and zucchini

toppings: fried tofu with fresh lima beans, thai basil, and salted radish, pickled daikon and carrots, and cucumbers

dessert: homemade oversized anise-citrus fortune cookies (limited)
